LTN Monitor was founded by
Linux Tech Networks in an effort to address monitoring solutions for our customers. This is a service that has been completely and totally written from the ground up to provide a location for individuals to verify and ensure that their server and network is able to hold up to their SLA.
Linux Tech Networks has been officially in business since 2002, however the staff behind LTN have been doing various server administrative stuff for much longer than that. The most common problem presenting itself to the staff @ LTN is security, second most to that is application errors, such as apache not starting up, mysql causing problems and the like. We've been debugging these for quite some time and love doing it.
LTN Monitor introduces a whole new era of monitoring with server based monitoring. Not just Network monitoring, but true server monitoring, through our expanded monitor application. With this, you are notified if your server is too loaded down, has too little memory available, has too little space on any drive available, has too many sql connections at once, has too many messages in the queue, or even has too much traffic going in at the present time. How do we do this? Through a remote application that talks to our servers and feeds them data every 2 minutes.
LTN Monitor takes "free" monitoring to a whole new level, giving individuals checks every 10 minutes, not just every 15, 30 or even 60 as some do. We also offer full trials to individuals wanting to test our services out, for 10 days. That can't be beat!
